The Wellington Book

I was approached by Fitzbeck Publishing to create a quirky coffee table book that captured the essence of Wellington. I worked with the talented Jess Jamieson (nee Lunnon) to help bring the idea to life. We created energetic, vibrant illustrations that incorporated hand typography to engage in story-telling of place. Quirky storytelling of Wellington's charm was combined with energetic illustrations to culminate in a 125 page visual feast, that captures Wellington in a way a camera simply can't.

This project won a Silver in 'Editorial and Books' category in the 2011 NZ Best Design Awards
